In this series I take a famous personality and capture its very essence. Shown here are three brilliant talents of unmatched virtuosity.
Buster Keaton, Marcel Marceau and Stephen Fry.
Included below are examples of how such designs could be used in a creative and productive manner.
No film history book that respects itself can be complete without Keaton. This design captures his forward thinking genius which hid behind his deadpan mask.
Another example of how the portrait can be used, an eye - catching poster. Who else is ordering tickets to the festival with me?
Marcel Marceau
The mime Marcel Marceau
A silent legend embodying the human spirit. Inspired by the physical and emotional influence Charlie Chaplin had on his audience, Marceau sought to find his own style of conveying deep truths of the human condition through movement.
And that he did. From helping to smuggle groups of Jewish children to neutral countries during WW2, to inspiring Michael Jackson's famous moonwalk, Marceau reached the invisible mountains he pretended to climb and has achieved an everlasting place in the creative world.
In my design I strove to show the elasticity and elegant nature of his movements, capturing a never-ending array of emotions he was able to portray.
This design is very fitting for a theatre or an exhibition related to the world of acting and expression, thus I used it in a poster advertising such an event.
Stephen Fry

.

Author, actor, comedian, philosopher... An admirer of humanity and its treasures.
Fry's roles in films, TV shows and marvelously written books have all cemented him as one of the most brilliant jewels in the crown of British culture.
Such a design would work well with an advertisement of an upcoming event, such as a talk or a live show.
